Khoury et al. (2013) conducted a comprehensive meta-analysis of 209 studies to assess the effectiveness of mindfulness-based therapy for a range of psychological conditions. They found that mindfulness-based therapy had a significant effect on reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress, with moderate to large effect sizes observed for each condition. They concluded that mindfulness-based therapy is a promising intervention for the treatment of a range of psychological conditions.

Garland et al. (2015) conducted a study to investigate the effects of mindfulness training on positive affect and cognition. Using multilevel and autoregressive latent trajectory modeling analyses, they found that mindfulness training was associated with upward spirals of positive affect and cognition. They concluded that mindfulness training may promote positive emotional and cognitive functioning.

4) Creswell, J. D., Pacilio, L. E., Lindsay, E. K., & Brown, K. W. (2014). Brief mindfulness meditation training alters psychological and neuroendocrine responses to social evaluative stress. Psychoneuroendocrinology, 44, 1-12:

Creswell et al. (2014) investigated the effects of brief mindfulness meditation training on psychological and neuroendocrine responses to social evaluative stress. They found that mindfulness meditation training reduced subjective distress and cortisol responses to the stressor. They concluded that brief mindfulness meditation training may be an effective strategy for reducing stress reactivity.
