Craig works from Walton-On-Thames
He is a Coach and in his 4th year of a BACP Accredited Integrative Psychotherapy Diploma with the CPCAB.
He holds 16 years experience working with people who struggle with addiction.

As a coach specialising in drug and alcohol misuse & recovery, I work with people who are ready to make changes, whether that means cutting down, stopping completely, or staying on track in recovery.

I understand how strong the pull towards drinking or using can be. You might find yourself saying, “This is the last time”, only to end up back in the same place. Rather than getting stuck in frustration or self-blame, we focus on what’s actually driving that pattern, and more importantly, what you can do differently moving forward.

Our work is practical and forward-focused. We identify triggers, build awareness of high-risk situations, and put clear strategies in place so you can respond differently in the moment. This isn’t about over-analysing the past, it’s about equipping you with the tools to take control now.

I support people at all stages, questioning their relationship with alcohol or drugs, actively trying to cut down or stop, maintaining long-term recovery and avoiding relapse.

Sessions are structured around your goals. Whether you want short-term, focused support or longer-term accountability, we keep the work clear, practical, and relevant to your day-to-day life.

You’ll have a confidential, straight-talking space where you can be honest about what’s really going on, without judgement, but also without avoiding the tough conversations that lead to change.

Where relevant, we also look at the pressures, stress, or life situations that feed into substance use, so you’re not just removing a habit, but building a more stable and manageable way of living.

Over time, the aim is simple, fewer slips, more control, better decisions under pressure, a stronger sense of direction and confidence.

Approach

My approach is collaborative, structured, and focused on results.
We work together to set clear, realistic goals, identify patterns and high-risk situations, build practical strategies you can actually use in real life, strengthen consistency, discipline, and follow-through, stay accountable to the changes you want to make.

There’s no one-size-fits-all plan. Everything is tailored to you, your habits, your environment, and what you want your life to look like.

I combine proven coaching techniques with real-world experience in addiction support. That means keeping things grounded, straightforward, and focused on what works.

Change doesn’t come from insight alone, it comes from action, repetition, and the right support. My role is to help you stay on track, adjust when needed, and keep moving forward.
